Little John (LJ)

AUCKLAND - LJ; Desexed, 6 year old, Small Breed, male. Owner happy to vaccinate when re-homing.

John was originally handed into a pet store that I worked at as “found” in their backyard when he was just a young fluff ball of a bunny and I’ve had him ever since. Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances it’s time for him to find a new home which has been a decision I’ve been putting off.

He’s a cheeky boy that loves his food and like most bunnys can be very moody as well particular in how he likes his house in order. He’s currently housed in our garage in a large pen. In the past he’s been free ranged indoor and outdoor in a pen and coped fine with all. He’s litter trained and uses his tray.

Originally he was with another rabbit however has been on his own for the last approximately 3 years so may take a bit longer to bond with another rabbit due to this. He is desexed and has had no known health issues while he’s been with me. He’s lived with my dogs and does try to interact with my smaller dog who also tries to “play” with him through his pen fencing.

If required he can come with his 2 x “X pens”, litter tray, dig box, water bowl, food bowl, food pellets/hay and treats, litter.

We are looking for a loving home that understands the requirements of owning a bunny.
