Subcutaneous Fluids

Subcutaneous fluids are given to your rabbit in the following instances -
* Shock
* Stasis or blockage
* Circulatory Collapse
* Blader Stones
* Bladder Sludge
* Renal Failure

It is best if you ask your vet or vet technician to teach you how to do this procedure. Even better have them do it for you if possible. However, this is a useful skill to have for any emergency situation where the vet office is closed or you can’t get an emergency vet do it for you, and that is why you want to learn how to do it.

Please check the videos below on how to give subcutaneous fluids to your bunny.
