Bella
AUCKLAND - Bella b.17/07/22. Flemish Giant/Lop x Angora. Vacinaated (Filavac), Desexed and Microchipped.
Bella is a beautiful ginger Flemish Giant (with lop ears) x Angora. She is vaccinated, desexed and microchipped.
Born on the 17th July 2022, Bella is the result of her 2 week post neuter father, getting in with my Angora female whilst I was in hospital, but what a cute little accident these babies were. Both parents have amazing calm natures which definitely passed on to their babies. This coupled with the frequent handling since birth (her mother had the babies on my bed next to me during the night) has made made them exceptionally friendly rabbits.
I absolutely adore Bella and had planned on keeping her and her sister Opal, but unfortunately she seems to be fairly dominant with other female buns and at first picked a fight with her mum, and now more recently her sister, who has been her BFF up until now (as you can see by photo’s). I was hoping I might be able to re-bond them as I absolutely do not want to part with her, but this is not looking like it is going to be possible. As my buns free range my house/yard it is just too hard needing to keep her seperate (I have a very small house) and so I have decided the best thing to do is to find her another beautiful loving home (which breaks my heart) where there are no risks of fights should one break free of their designated zones.
She is absolutely fine with my boy buns, so I would like her to go to a home where will have a husbun, as I strongly feel that rabbits need to be in pairs or groups as they are such social creatures (and she is use to a home with many buns).
As she has grown up indoors she will ONLY go to a home where she will be free range indoors (hopefully with access to outdoors during the day, as she loves her outdoor time too). She is familiar with micro-chip cat doors as this is what she uses to get in an out of my house at present. She is toilet trained and to date has not at all been a “destructive” rabbit. It is ok if she has a rabbit safe room or zone for small periods, but ultimately she is use to having my full house and outdoor area accessible most of the time so I want her to go to a home where she will have a lot of free range time.
She has an absolutely beautiful nature and will seek you out (especially on the bed) for head scratches and smooches. Sometimes she will even groom you back. She really does have the most beautiful nature and whoever ends up with her is going to be so lucky.
She has been fed burgess pellets, quality hay and fresh greens daily- It is important to me that her new forever home is also prepared to invest in quality food.
Bella will have an adoption cost to partially contribute towards some of the costs I have paid for desexing, microchipping and being Vaccinated.
Please send me a message with a bit of information about yourself/your home if you think you can offer Bella a suitable loving forever home and would like to come and meet her.
